I recently stayed at Blue Gate Youth in Suzhou for a few days. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, adding a personal touch to my trip. The dinner at the hostel was delicious, and they even arranged a day-long tour for me. The room, although not very spacious, had big comfortable beds. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a friendly staff and excellent security. The location was also ideal, with easy access to buses and the subway, making it easy to explore the city's main sights.

I had a wonderful stay at Blue Gate Youth in Suzhou and do recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was excellent, right in the heart of the ancient area. It was within walking distance to the beautiful gardens and charming canal streets. Another advantage was that it was very close to a local market where I could try a variety of delicious Suzhou snacks. the staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and spoke good English, making it easy for me to get recommendations and learn more about the city.

One thing that could be improved was the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The rubbish bins should be emptied more regularly.

Conveniently located in the ancient area, easily walkable to gardens and canals. Multiple rubber slippers provided for bathroom trips. Kettle available in the room. Comfy bed and spacious, clean room. Nice seating area downstairs for chilling and eating. Close to metro and restaurants.

The location of the hostel was absolutely incredible, right in the heart of the ancient part of the city. It was super convenient to walk to all the main scenic spots and the transport connections were a breeze. The customer service was top-notch, with the staff being extremely helpful and friendly. They offered a wide range of trips and were equally helpful in providing information and advice for more independent-minded travelers. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, I couldn't resist having it two days in a row. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and even though I shared a dorm with several people, any lack of cleanliness in the bathroom was due to that and not the staff's attention. it was a fantastic experience and great value for money.

The hostel is located in a prime location, with easy access to public transportation and famous attractions. the owner is extremely helpful and speaks good English, making it convenient for arranging tours and getting guidance during your stay. the hostel offers comfortable beds, ample washing facilities, and a communal area with a wide-screen TV. the food, cooked by Claire, is delicious and offers a variety of options, including western dishes like pizzas, breakfast, soups. the atmosphere is welcoming and conducive to meeting fellow travelers.

Comfortable guestrooms ensure a good night's sleep with some rooms featuring facilities such as a locker, towels, and slippers. During my stay, I felt like royalty, walking around in my slippers, as if I were Cinderella at the ball.

I had a great experience at Blue Gate Youth. the family atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was excellent. the location was central, with convenient access to attractions and public transport. the rooms were clean and filled with natural light. the food on the menu was diverse and delicious. I will definitely return to this hostel. Cons: All was good. 😊.

Great location, close to restaurants and supermarkets, near classical gardens, historical street within walking distance. Comfortable bed, good shower pressure. Good and cheap food and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff, English-speaking.
